Best geese beyond the Urals ... great wine with very friendly nice service ... the host is a real friend.

The Wetzel wine is definitely recommended. Currently you have very long waiting times for the food. (Corona-related) But all in all, it's worth a visit ?

The Argentine rump steak was super delicious a feast! ? medium fried as intended and served with homemade herb butter. Together with a portion of fried potatoes, more than enough for a healthy meal ?

Nice and complete service, boss always a perky saying on the lips, price / performance top, nice atmosphere with a lot of heart. What more do you want as a guest? Full and deserved 5 stars ?

Have not eaten so well in a long time! The service was great? The food was to die for, homemade ravioli had the rest of rump steak and Cordon Blue. All dishes prepared super fresh. Dad's ambience is super cozy, you feel right at home and don't have much waiting time because you can't get out of "looking" ?

Main course salad sinks into too much sauce. Everything muddy after max. 2 min.? Tortellini fresh and good, but far too little for this price. You mustn't be hungry! ?

Weinwetzel's Christmas goose (the second) salty but good. Well, the meat is a bit dry, but there is sauce (unfortunately). + Before that a homemade corn salad with croutons and bacon. Delicious. + The goose crispy and nicely seasoned, the filling juicy, seasoned to taste. + The chestnut and pear compote is very sweet and caramel-buttery, I love it. + The dumplings homemade fluffy Red cabbage with a clear cinnamon note, strongly seasoned. - Only the sauce has salted it up (again). Unfortunately, dumplings and cabbage cannot catch the salt because they are sufficiently seasoned themselves. It's a pity. + Service and host very friendly and the goose is presented beforehand. Very tasty goose menu, 2nd year in a row and really recommended, everything was fresh and. homemade, chopped goose fresh from the oven. Highly recommended and per goose you need 5 good eaters, otherwise it is not possible. :-) Unfortunately we have never managed to eat there outside of the goose time, but it is still on our plan. :-)

Non-criticizable host and cook. With high altitude flight and loss of reality. He asks if it tastes good and if you answer honestly you will be verbally abused by him. We were spoiled the whole evening. Never again.

Super nice hosts. Also stand in the kitchen and cook. Super delicious food at fair prices. Fresh and local ingredients bought by the landlord. Not to forget the good wine! Always happy to be a guest in this unique inn!

After a very long time we were here again - if there were 6 stars - we would give you wine Wetzel! The whole ambiance, the food and wine offer is authentic, refreshing, honest! And the whole thing still tastes good! Seriously: just outstanding; not to forget the great staff and the boss, the more than positive round off. Here you can stay very well longer. Great shop.
